Wojciech Czakon

professor, chair in strategy at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. His research revolves around interorganizational phenomena, strategies and structures in order to better understand the actual behavior of firms and their strategic success. Recent publications focus on relational antecedents of coopetition, by exploring the role of trust in diads or networks in tourism, and the cognitive underpinnings of strategy by identifying the network myopia phenomenon.

Co-founder of the CENA community (Coopetition-Ecosystems-Networks-Alliances) which organizes regular tracks at the European Academy of Management (EURAM) and Association Internationale de Management Strategique (AIMS) conferences. Faculty at the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management. Member of the Organization and Management Science Committee at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Guest-Editor of several journals special issues dedicated to coopetition strategies, most recently in International Studies in Management and Organization (2016), Industrial Marketing Management (2016), and Long Range Planning (in progress).
